Motion System - 2020
Bitcoin 101YouTube Series
The Challenge
Bitcoin.com wanted to make cryptocurrency understandable to complete beginners. Seven episodes needed to cover transactions, wallets, storage, and how Bitcoin differs from traditional finance, all without losing people in the first 30 seconds. The visual approach had to make complex financial concepts feel approachable, not intimidating.

Visual research: mapping the Bitcoin network, wallet interfaces, and blockchain concepts into a motion-friendly system

The Solution
I led art direction and motion design across all seven episodes. I developed a visual system that used simplified iconography, color-coded information layers, and animated diagrams that built concepts step by step rather than dumping everything on screen at once. Each episode followed a consistent motion language so returning viewers felt oriented, while new viewers could jump in at any point.

The Outcome
The series crossed 2 million views on YouTube and became Bitcoin.com's primary onboarding resource for new users. The visual system I created set the standard for how Bitcoin.com communicated educational content from that point forward.
